Sponsored Content Guidelines
Entrepreneurs Cirque partners with brands, organizations, and agencies to produce sponsored and branded content that informs, educates, and inspires our entrepreneurial audience—without compromising transparency or editorial standards. These guidelines explain how we manage and disclose paid collaborations across our platform and digital magazine.
1. Definition of Sponsored Content
“Sponsored content” (also called branded or partner content) refers to articles, videos, interviews, or features that have been created in collaboration with or funded by a brand or marketing partner. Sponsored content may include:
- Brand-authored or co-created articles
- Virtual interviews with brand representatives
- Thought-leadership contributions by company executives
- Promotional business or entrepreneur spotlights
2. Clear Labeling & Disclosure
All sponsored or paid placements are clearly identified so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. Labels may include one or more of the following:
- “Sponsored”
- “In Partnership With [Brand Name]”
- “Paid Promotion”
Disclosure appears at the top of the article and, where applicable, within the content itself in accordance with FTC Endorsement Guidelines and Google Advertising Policies.
3. Editorial Review Process
Before publication, all sponsored material is reviewed by our editorial and compliance teams to ensure that it:
- Is factually accurate and relevant to our audience
- Complies with applicable advertising laws and ethics
- Maintains the tone and quality consistent with Entrepreneurs Cirque’s standards
- Does not contain false, misleading, or unverifiable claims
We reserve the right to edit or decline any sponsored submission that fails to meet these requirements.
4. Separation from Editorial Content
Sponsored content is produced independently from our newsroom operations. The editorial team does not sell, negotiate, or manage paid partnerships. Likewise, advertisers have no control over our editorial coverage, story selection, or tone.
5. Quality & Brand Alignment
We accept sponsored partnerships only from organizations that align with our mission to highlight innovation, impact, and leadership in business. Content must offer genuine value to readers—not just promotion—and reflect the professionalism and credibility of Entrepreneurs Cirque.
6. Multimedia & Digital Magazine Features
Sponsored stories and interviews featured in our Entrepreneurs Cirque Business Magazine are conducted virtually or via written correspondence only. All visuals, videos, and assets provided must be original, properly licensed, or cleared for commercial use.
7. Metrics, Privacy & Data
We may share aggregated performance metrics (views, clicks, impressions) with sponsors. We do not share personal data or individual user information without explicit consent, in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. Legal & Compliance
All sponsored collaborations must comply with:
- FTC Endorsement and Advertising Guidelines (16 CFR §255)
- U.S. Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) Principles
- EU and UK Transparency and Consumer Disclosure Regulations
- Google and Meta Advertising Policies
All partnerships are governed under U.S. law and the jurisdiction of Dallas, Texas, through Masidas Enterprise LLC.
